Usher Raymond IV, conocido profesionalmente como Usher, es un cantante, compositor de canciones, y actor estadounidense nacido en Chattanooga, Tennesse, el 14 de octubre de 1978.Usher a vendido un poco mas de 30 millones de albums a lo largo de su carrera, tambien es parte del grupo de dueños de equipo profesional de basquetbol "cavaliers" y tiene su propio sello disquero llamado "US Records"

• Agosto,1994 USHER : A los 13 años de edad Usher lanzó su primer álbum, titulado Usher, que no fue exitoso en ventas.
• 2001 : 8701 Los primeros 2 sencillos del álbum fueron U Remind Me y U Got It Bad, ambos grandísimos éxitos; el tercer sencillo fue You Don't Have To Call, que también estuvo a la cabeza en varias listas de popularidad, y el cuarto y último sencillo fue U Turn. El álbum fue certificado 4 veces platino, vendiendo más de 7 millones de copias en el mundo. Usher tuvo 2 nominaciones a los Grammy Awards, ganando una de ellas.
• 2004 : CONFESSIONS El primer sencillo del album fue la canción Yeah que estuvo 6 semanas en el primer lugar en la lista de Billboard 100, el álbum vendió 1,1 millón de copias en la primera semana (siendo el primer cantante de R&B en vender esa cantidad, dejando atrás las ventas de R. Kelly en el 2000). Después sacó los sencillos Burn y Confessions II, que también alcanzó los primeros 3 lugares en las listas, convirtiéndolo en el tercer artista en lograr tener 3 canciones en los primeros 3 lugares al mismo tiempo en la lista Hot 100 Billboard, pero Usher ha sido el único solista en lograr esto (los otros 2 fueron Los Beatle's en 1964 y los Bee Gees en 1978). El álbum vendió más de 14 millones de copias, siendo así considerado disco de diamante en Estados Unidos. En septiembre del 2004 sacó el sencillo My Boo con Alicia Keys, la canción fue el primer sencillo de la edición especial del álbum Confessions, y también alcanzó el primer lugar, dándole así a Usher 28 semanas en el primer lugar en las listas en ese año. El segundo sencillo del álbum fue Caught Up, que llegó solo al puesto número 8. Después de eso Usher lanzó un especial, llamado Rhythm City, que es como un pequeño musical, y en el que están incluidas las canciones Caught up, Seduction, Take you'r hand y Red light. Rhythm city fue pasado por canales musicales y logró un gran éxito.
